THE WEIDEL FAMILY
The Weidel Family The Weidel Family is a true Southern Gospel group. They are all members
of the Weidel family and are active in their local
church. They have a limited number of outside dates available for bookings.
They are currently restructuring their group, due to the loss of The group is centered on Brenda, (front row, center), the mom and low harmony singer.
Brenda is multi-talented. She knows music inside and out and she plays the
piano as very few have the ability to do. She is the bond that holds the
family and the group together. Jana, (front row, right), sings
the high harmony, and the lead on some of the solos. She and her husband, Brett, (back row, right), do several
songs together and have an album of their own, which was published last year.
Brett plays the guitar and runs the sound equipment for the group. Jana and
Brett have one child, a little girl, Kiley. Kiley is not just another cute face,
she has many talents which are demonstrated daily as she helps her mother in
the church office, where Jana is the pastor’s secretary. Jocelyn, (front row, left), sings the
leads and the low harmony on most of the songs for the group. She will be leaving
the group next year when she and her husband to be, move to Jeremy, (back row, left), is the
oldest sibling in the group. He sings the high harmony and even does a few
lead parts, when the group needs his talent. Jeremy is married and has three
