Dr. George T.
Newcomb
Pastor
Adult Ministries
Dr. George Newcomb has had over 26 years of pastoral experience. There are
three words that describe the ministry of Bro. Newcomb. (1) Preacher,
(2) Teacher, and (3) Shepherd. Pastor
Newcomb has a deep burden to teach and preach the word of God.

Youth Department
Youth
Student Ministries
Our youth department is currently under the direction of Jeff and Lisa
Hampton. Jeff is a recent graduate from law school. Jeff and Lisa grew up in
this area. Heritage Baptist is their home church and both were teens in our
youth department. Lisa is the daughter of our first youth director. They
are encouraging all teens to come and be a part of our teen ministry. Please

 Jana Weidel
Secretary
Bible Club Leader
Jana is our church secretary. She not only takes care of the church
office, she is also in charge of our children's Bible Clubs. Jana also
travels almost every weekend with her family, the Weidel Family Singers. She
is currently enrolled in college and plans to get her degree in Business
Administration.

 Jalil Ordoobadi
Associate Pastor
Church Ministries
Jalil and Carol Ordoobadi are our newest staff members. Jalil was born and
raised in Iran. He was saved after he came to the United States in 1979. He
is a graduate of both the University of Texas at Tyler and the Baptist Bible
College in Springfield, MO. He also has two years of pastoral experience.
Jalil and Carol have four children, two of which still live at home. He is
currently in charge of our Jr. High Department. Jalil’s verse for his life is
Jude 1:22
